  • Commissioners’ Court of Wilson County seeks bids for bid 21-1004- Wilson County Construction Services: Wilson County/TCEQ AACOG Solid Waste Facility Expansion. Specifications concerning these bids may be obtained from the office of Intrepid Surveying & Engineering Corp, Attn: Russell Jaskinia, PE, CFM, at RussellJ@intrepidtx.com or on Wilson County’s website www.co.wilson.tx.us. Bids must be submitted according to the plans and specifications as outlined in the bid packet. All bids are due on or before Monday, December 28th, 2020 prior to 9:00 am in the Wilson County Auditor’s Office.  Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to Wilson County Auditor and the outside of the envelope must be marked: “Wilson County Construction Services: Wilson County/ TCEQ AACOG Solid Waste Facility Expansion 21-1004, December 28, 2020 at 10 AM”.  The name and address of the bidder must be plainly marked thereon.  All bids are to be opened Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10 am, in the Commissioners’ Courtroom, 1420 3rd Street, Floresville, TX 78114.  LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.   • NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING

    Notice is hereby given that a public hearing on the FY 2021 budget of Wilson County Texas will be held on August 24, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Wilson County Courthouse, 1420 3rd St., Floresville, Texas.  A Copy of the proposed budget is on file and may be seen in the office of the County Clerk or on the Counties website.  All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and give comments at the hearing.  This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $581,596, which is a 3.56 percent increase from last year’s budget.  The property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $524,984.
